Mandating beauty is, by definition, an impossible task. And but, the level of dialogue and in the end the outcomes are elevated through attempting difficult but important duties. In this Petal, the Imperatives are based on real efforts, thoughtfully utilized. We don’t start to assume that we can choose beauty and project our personal aesthetic values on others. But we do need to perceive people’s objectives and know that an effort was made to counterpoint people’s lives with each square meter of building, on each project.
